Judy Butler, a member of the Worcester Board of Realtors, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors, has been serving the real estate needs of her clients and customer for over 30 years. She has experienced, first hand, the volatility of the real estate market...first in 1979, then in 1990 and again in today's marketplace. Rates were 19% to 21% when Judy first started in real estate in 1979 and yes, people were buying and selling. In 1990 we experienced yet another real estate crisis. We saw home prices drop for the first time since the Great Depression; we saw sellers taking out loans to close on their homes. Times were tough... but we came through it. Yes, today's real estate market is challenging, more difficult than the last two... but we will come through this too.

Judy was licensed in 1979 and worked for a local Century 21 office. She owned and operated her own real estate company from 1980 to 2006. Family responsibilities made it necessary for her to close her office in 2006. She then joined a long-standing company in Auburn. In 2007, Judy decided to see what a large, national franchise could do. Now, Judy has come full circle... back to a small, local, independent company...Gibbs Realty, Inc. Gibbs Realty embodies the same work and professional ethics Judy so strongly believes in. Gibbs' philosophy and personalize services are a perfect match for her.

Over the past 30 years, Judy has served on many Board of Realtor and MLS committees either as the chairman or a member. Judy was also nominated for the coveted Realtor of the Year Award in the late 1980's. She has been listed in Who's Who in Real Estate.

Prior to entering the real estate industry, Judy was credit manager of A. B. Dick Products Co. in Worcester. She also did substitute teaching in the Towns of Leicester, Spencer and Paxton and taught C.C.D classes in Leicester.

Judy is a 1963 graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Worcester, MA. She earned her B.A. degree in Elementary Ed and Special Ed. from Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA. in 1967. Judy is married to her high school sweetheart, Eugene Butler, Ed.D. Judy and Gene are a team... Gene is also a licensed real estate agent and helps out whenever he can. This July, Judy and Gene will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary...now that's team-work! They have lived in Monson, Auburn, Leicester and 5 years ago moved to Paxton where they now reside with their 3 Persian cats...Princess, Shadow and Buttercup . They have 6 grown children and 9 wonderful grandchildren.
